FAQs
Where is Noble K9 located?
You can find us at 2108 Notre Dame Dr, St. Agatha, ON, N0B 2L0, Canada. If you’re not local, we also offer online training via Zoom and sell protection dogs worldwide.
Do you guarantee results?
Yes! We guarantee positive changes in your dog's behavior and obedience, but maintaining those improvements is your responsibility at home. We're here to help with educational resources, private lessons, and ongoing support to ensure you have the guidance you need.
What shots are required for my dog to participate?
Rabies, Bordetella, Distemper, Parvo, Tick Medication (if in season).
Is my dog too old to be trained?
The oldest dog we have trained at Noble K9 was 13 years old, “can’t teach an old dog new tricks” is a myth and we can certainly train any dog regardless of age, breed or history.
What is best for me? Privates, Groups or Board and Train?
Board & Train - Highly recommended for reliable change, FAST. Because our trainers are seasoned professionals, we can train your dog for you swiftly as we do not have a learning curve and can get right down to it. In this program, we also include private sessions to coach you to sustain the training.
Privates - If you have an irregular schedule, or learn better in a calm environment, private sessions are for you. Please note that with private sessions, you will be training your dog at home for 30-45 minutes per day.
Group sessions - If you need reliability under distractions for your dog and can learn in small group settings (never more than 4-5 dogs in a class), groups are for you. Please note that with group sessions, you will be training your dog at home for 30-45 minutes per day.
Do you board dogs without training?
Yes, we do! We can board almost ANY kind of dog including dogs that are aggressive to people.
What is your training method?
At Noble K9, we empower dog owners with the education they need to create a stress-free environment and eliminate unwanted behaviors. By customizing our training methods to each dog's unique needs, we foster a strong bond between owners and their pets.
How old does my dog have to be?
Puppy Class - minimum of 8 weeks old
Puppy Board & Train - minimum of 4 months of age
Protection Training - minimum of 6 months of age
Off-Leash (E-Collar Training) - minimum of 6 months of age
What tools do you use?
The tools used depend on your training goals and your dog's personality. We often use prong collars, e-collars, slip leads, toys, treats, and plenty of love and affection.
What should I do when I arrive at the Noble K9 facility?
For Private Sessions, Board & Train, and Group Classes, please park in the designated area and walk to the training building (the large metal building with the Noble K9 signs). Do not go to the house or kennel. If you’re unsure about controlling your dog, please keep them secure in your vehicle and approach one of our trainers for guidance—safety is our top priority.
